Het zuiden bestaat uit zandduinen en stranden, waar je parels kunt zoeken of diverse watersporten kunt beoefenen. Mocht u de drukte van de stad beu worden, dan ligt de rest van Qatar praktisch om de hoek, met prachtige landschappen en interessante historische bezienswaardigheden voor wie van avontuur houdt.
